OPCGateWay is an OPC (OLE for Process Control) -compatible application that combines the functionality of the client and the server. Allows centralized collection, processing and backup of OPC data. The key features of OPCGateWay are:
- Backup OPC DA servers. If communication with the main OPC DA server fails, the clients switching to the standby server that is transparent to OPC clients is executed.
- OPC tunneling with support for secure data transfer protocols. Secure and transparent transmission of OPC data between any network nodes.
- Support for industry standards OPC DA from version 1.0 to 3.0.
- Easy to set up. OPCGateWay does not require programming when configuring redundancy and OPC tunneling.
- Built-in powerful scripting language allows you to implement mathematical processing of transmitted data.
- Accelerate the development of the configuration through the use of templates. In this case, the set of registers for the same type of automation devices is formed from the template. This simplifies the development process and minimizes the occurrence of possible errors.
- Updating the OPCGateWay configuration on a running automated system is invisible to OPC clients.
- Support for working in Windows service mode. OPCGateWay can work as a standalone solution on a server platform.
- Work with bit fields. Simple access to individual bits in the values of OPC tags for reading and writing.
