After carrying out a marketing research and obtaining a list of e-mail addresses, one of the important tasks for ensuring effective e-mail marketing is address verification. This will help you avoid sending messages to non-existent email addresses.
The mailing list can be imported into ePochta Verifier from other ePochta applications, a text file, or the Windows clipboard. After that, you just need to click on the "Check" button to get the result.
The program uses three methods of checking e-mail addresses for accuracy, which makes it possible to perform these operations as quickly and qualitatively as possible. All procedures are performed in multithreaded mode and use all the features of the Internet channel.
The first step in checking the e-mail address is its parsing, during which addresses that do not conform to the standard are excluded from the list. For example, the following addresses will be deleted: ann # mail.ru, john!@$mail.com and so on. The second step is checking the existence of the domain name of the addressee. Thus, if there is no domain, then the email address does not exist. Therefore, it is not allowed until the third stage of verification. If the recipient's address is ann@mail.ru, and the mail.ru domain exists, it makes sense to check the existence of a specific address in the domain. The third stage is the most thorough check of the e-mail address, where only the addresses that passed the previous two steps are allowed. During it, the program searches for the corresponding SMTP server and checks the existence of the user.
Thus, only those that really exist from the list of e-mail addresses remain. The result of the work can be exported to other programs of the ePochta family, Microsoft Office applications or the Windows clipboard.
