Expedo is a platform that is a document-oriented DBMS. The platform includes tools for describing the structure of documents, entering and storing data, means for analyzing and exporting data, and means for obtaining printed forms.
On solved problems Expedo is similar to Microsoft Access, but it differs greatly according to the principle of operation and use. According to these criteria, Expedo is closer to the 1C platform, but firstly, it is completely based on XML, and secondly, it is less focused on accounting tasks.
The main advantage of the platform is the fastest creation of new documents by the users themselves. The creation of a document means the creation of a document repository, a form for the input of data on a document and the creation of the necessary printed forms for a document.
