Encyclopedia of Health Cyril and Methodius

"Cyril and Methodius Encyclopedia of Health" - the fourth edition of the most complete multimedia encyclopedia devoted to one of the most important problems - the problem of human health. Today, health protection is one of the priority national projects in the Russian Federation. In this regard, the present encyclopedia has undergone radical editing and updating. The basis of the encyclopedia was composed of articles devoted to various aspects of human health: official and alternative medicine, anatomy and physiology of the human body, healthy lifestyle, nutrition, cosmetology, sexual life. Special sections are devoted to the problems of combating drug addiction and other bad habits and the skills of providing first aid. The most important difference of this version from the previous edition is the thematic rubricator, completely revised in accordance with the requirements of modern medical science and the multifaceted nature of human health issues (both within the framework of official and alternative medicine). Key sections such as Human Organism, Diagnosis and Treatment Methods, Diseases and Their Treatment, Healthy Lifestyle, Mother and Child, First Emergency Care were significantly updated. The section devoted to yoga has been completely updated. Additional value for the user is represented by the Atlas of Human Morphology, in which three-dimensional models of the human skeleton, muscular system, internal organs, circulatory, nervous systems and their constituents are represented. The Atlas is an independent appendix, but at the same time it is connected with the body of articles as illustrations (by clicking on the image of a human figure, you can select an article pertaining to a particular site or body organ). The fourth edition contains:
