@RISK Is a package of modeling and analysis of tasks with the presence of a risk factor, support for making managerial decisions and optimizing project management. The @RISK program can work both independently and within traditional spreadsheet tools (in the form of Microsoft Excel macros or Lotus modules).
@RISK Is an extremely popular and powerful add-on to Microsoft Excell for Monte Carlo simulation.
Main functionality:
  • The @RISK program will allow you to analyze a wide variety of processes and phenomena whose models are described in the context of spreadsheets and whose uncertainty is characterized by a set of variables that take some random values ​​distributed according to a predetermined law.
  • The result of modeling tasks using @ RISK is the range of values ​​in which the results can be found, as well as the frequency of occurrence of each possible result value.
  • The program will automatically simulate the Monte Carlo method based on the output of the model and offer a wide range of tools for analyzing and graphically reflecting the results. The results can be presented in the form of tables, histograms and graphs of the corresponding distribution functions.
  • The presence of an uncertainty factor and the ability to work with approximate, "fuzzy" values ​​makes @RISK an extremely attractive tool for assessing situations in various areas of business activity, allowing a fresh look at the traditional areas of application of table processors.
