Website of the Dutch Government Attacked by paralysis

A source from the Dutch government said hackers had attacked and disabled some government websites until today (Oct. 5) in protest of plans to cut budgets.

Hackers constantly send queries to the websites, making them always overloaded and the entire computer system is paralyzed. The culprit of the attack is a group of hackers claiming to be "Hacking Crew 10pht". This hacking group also blocked the whole forum of the Dutch government.

According to some sources, the underlying cause of the attack was the Dutch government's budget cuts for health care and retirement in 2005.
