RusPO Relay

RusPO Relay - a flexible, universal and reliable solution for remote control of analog audio devices - transceivers, walkie-talkies, doorphones and their connection through networks. Program RusPO Relay Allows using the Internet, a virtual or a local network to perform the following actions:

• Manage a remote audio device (transceiver, walkie-talkie, etc.), listen to the air and transmit;
• Connect two analog audio devices or a transceiver over a network in completely different places so that they work as a repeater (thus coordinating two groups of users in different places);
• Establish a direct and permanent audio channel between two points (computers).

Less common areas of application of this software:

• Listening to a remote room;
• Ordinary private voice communication over the network in point-to-point mode;
• Periodic transmission of callsigns and / or announcements on the air (with a "polite" interference prevention function for other users);
• The management of audio devices such as doorphones, etc.

The program is undemanding to computer and network resources, it was tested even with GPRS and dial-up modem connection. RusPO Relay has a subsystem for monitoring the quality of the connection and restores communication in case of clipping.
The program uses the original method of sound compression, so the consumption of Internet traffic is reduced to the required minimum. There is a wide choice of options for connecting devices (walkie-talkies) to the computer for convenience and versatility. System requirements for RusPO Relay:
- Processor: Celeron 2.4 GHz or better.
- RAM: 256 MB or higher.
- Free space on the boot drive: 10 MB.
- You must have a working network adapter with a full MAC address.
- To prevent effects of acoustic feedback and echo, it is recommended to use a headset (headset).
