Setup Automatic Mode Login to Windows XP

Sometimes it is inconvenient to log in to Windows, the system requires a password while the computer is only used by each user without sharing with anyone else. The following instructions will allow the operating system Windows XP automatically logs on without going through the required password process. However, this guide only recommends for systems that have a login account (such as an Administrator account).

To bypass the password request process, you need to use the command "control userpasswords2" to display the user account management panel. From Start - & gt; Run, you type the command control userpasswords2 , the User Accounts panel will appear (Figure A).

In the User Accounts panel, just uncheck the "Users Must Enter A Name And Password To Use This Computer Setting" box, and then click the Apply or OK button. You will be asked to enter a new password (leave the password box blank), and then click OK. After rebooting, the system will automatically log on without a password.
