Gavno's Stick, the phone loses the ability to talk

Symbian OS users should beware of the new Gavno.a and Gavno.b viruses. According to the alert, these are the first two viruses to be programmed to remove the most important feature of mobile phones - the talk feature.

Aaron Davidson, director of Simworks security company, said that Gavno.a and Gavno.b disguised as bug fixes to mislead users. Like Cabir, both viruses are capable of infecting via infrared or Bluetooth connectivity

Gavno a. It's about 2KB hidden in the SIS (Symbian Installation System), under the name patch.sis. Gava.b is slightly larger and hidden in the SIS file (patch_v2.sis).

Simworks noted that there are already customers using the Nokia 6600 and Nokia 7610 (running Symbian OS version 7) reportedly "infected" the Gavno virus.
