Granumetric - Calculation and mathematical tool for designing grain compositions of raw mixtures of building composite materials, allowing to calculate the grain formulations of raw mixtures containing up to 10 original components.

The initial data for the calculation are the grain compositions of the initial components obtained as a result of the granulometric analysis. In the process of calculation, the mass fractions of the initial components of the mixture are selected in such a way that the calculated curve of the grain composition of the projected mixture approaches (or completely coincides) with the curve of the reference grain composition.

Selection of mass fractions is carried out both manually and automatically using an intelligent algorithm to consistently reduce the error (divergence) of the calculated and reference grain compositions. The reference grain composition can be given by the known equations of "ideal" grain-size curves (for example, Funk-Dinger, Fuller or Bolome) or by a specific experimental sowing, which allows setting practically any boundary conditions for optimization.

The presented calculation technique allows for a short time to simulate the supposedly optimal particle size distribution, using only the proportions of the mass fractions of the initial components in the mixture.

This software product (and the algorithm underlying it) is only an auxiliary computational and mathematical tool, while at the design stage, a real optimizing effect is not guaranteed with respect to the qualitative (technical and operational) characteristics of the final product. The methodological basis for the optimization of the grain composition of the raw meal mixture is reduced to the criteria for selecting the reference grain composition. In this case, it is necessary to take into account aspects of the spatial packing of particles and their influence on the structural topology of the granular material in question.
