If you use the Virtual Server hosting plan, you may not have sufficient privileges to create new databases on the target MySQL server. For such cases, we recommend the following scenario:
- Ask the administrator of the Virtual Server (or hosting provider) to create an empty database in your account
- Run MSSQL-to-MySQL, specify this database as the conversion target
- When a dialog appears with the question of how to process an existing database, select "Overwrite existing tables"
- The ability to merge MS SQL data with the existing MySQL database.
