The START Pipeline

Software solution The START Pipeline Is a package of tools for designing and calculating the rigidity and strength of pipelines of various purposes, with arbitrary configuration in space, heat networks, technological pipelines of chemical, petrochemical, oil refining, gas and other related industries, oil and gas mains. The program makes it possible to calculate pipelines of any complexity (aboveground, flat, spatial, branched, with closed contours, etc.). The "START" product includes five normative databases that provide additional convenience for work: "Materials", "Springs", "Soils", "Compensators" and "Isolation".
The means of the START program allow calculating both self-compensating pipelines in which the flexibility of the temperature extensions is ensured by the flexibility of the pipeline route itself, as well as pipelines with special compensating devices realized in the form of lens, corrugated or gland expansion joints. The program is offered in four versions, different in price and features:

• "START" - for the mass user.
• «START-Prof» - for professionals solving large-scale tasks, and for calculating long pipelines that are jammed in the ground.
• «START-Light» - A light version of the program, intended for educational purposes (only available in educational institutions). Allows you to calculate small parts of piping schemes, having no more than 150 degrees of freedom.
• «START-EXPRESS» - a product intended for preliminary simplified calculations at the stage of pipeline design.
• Module «START-BASIC» - allows to perform calculations of pipelines of arbitrary configuration, but without sections of non-channel laying in the ground.
